Senior photos, wedding photos, newborns......I started my photography journey back in high school. I just loved photographing everyday life and people having fun in it. When I had kids, and was still shooting film, my favorite time was going to pick up photos I had developed to find those 2-3 images from the set that I LOVED! It was like magic. And then while teaching, my students would create Memory Binders of their year, which we filled with images I had taken of them. Fast forward to 2008 and my oldest was graduating and I started doing senior photos and a new business was born. From 2008 through 2019 I was having a blast photographing upwards for 50-60 students each year, which lead me to leave teaching in 2010 to photograph full time.
As the years carried on, those former students of mine and those I had photographed their senior photos, were getting married...and I started shooting weddings. And then those married couples started having babies, and now here we are. I loved my time photographing seniors, and also photographing weddings, however my time with these squishy newborns is AMAZING! So bring on those babies!!!
